This is a custom leather wedding guestbook that is being given as a gift to the bride and groom. It was created from remnant leather, has hand-stitched initials, and closes with a handmade glass bead. The quote on the first inside page was chosen by the couple: "This is no ordinary love."
Dance is the manifestation of the soul. –Isadora Duncan
This is a custom journal that my previous ballet professor is gifting to another dance professor.
How much fun is that!!
Here is a medium refillable notebook that is being given as a gift. The hand-stitched initials on the tree are the couple's initials and the monogram on the flap is the recipient's. I first used the idea of putting initials on the tree trunk for my dear friend as a wedding gift. I gave it to her long before the wedding so that she could write the story of their engagement and reflect on moments leading up to the wedding. I love how it turned out!
you have to remember to...
These are custom leather tags that I created for a toolman to use to identify which tool box contains which tools. This type of item could also be used as a unique luggage tag. They are hand-stitched letters on remant leather with beads and stone to accent.
These are toothfair book necklaces that I made as custom orders as a couple of birthday presents for young girls. They have a tooth and fairy wand stitched on the front and a little pocket on the back cover for the money to go in. There are a few pages inside where they can keep track of when and where they lost their teeth. All of this comes packaged as a bitty book that they can wear as a necklace. Pretty fun, huh?!
I recently created a custom leather sleeve for a customer in California to give to her boyfriend for their anniversary. Here is what she had to say about it:
"This is one of the best purchases I have ever made! I was looking for a certain portfolio that I couldn't find anywhere, and this seller was able to accomplish all the customizations I desired perfectly. She has one of the best prices in terms of genuine leather products out there. So glad I ordered from this shop! :)"
This notebook is a perfect companion for all tooth fairies! You can record and save each little tooth as they come out, making notes and storing memories. It is a 4.5 x 3 inches hand-bound book with 72 pages (front and back) that has a small pocket on the front inside cover. The cover was made from remnant mint leather, and it closes with a hand-made glass bead. The inside pages are also recycled and acid-free. You can even have your wee one draw pictures of what happened when they lost their tooth. The ideas are endless! To order one, go here.
"Happiness is not a matter of intensity but of balance, order, rhythm and harmony."

This was a custom order from last year. They are matching refillable
notebooks that are meant to be a reminder of balance.
Sending this refillable journal off to a sweet friend today! She has just gone through a major move and has an exciting new job. She wanted a journal that she could carry around at work while still being a symbol of empowerment. She decided to go with red because it felt bold and that is what she is trying to be more of. I found a gold closure of a lotus and added the goddess figure inside to remind her to be true to herself. As I was creating it, I kept thinking of the Alicia Key's song "Girl on Fire". This is for all your new-found fire, Steph!
Thanks to Janice Jackson of Elegant Events by Jan, I got to participate in my first bridal show here in Lexington. Here are some of the sample guestbooks I created. If you are interested in something similar or a different design all together, let me know!

(And yes...I somehow hand-stitched that in cursive...)
You know how moms and grandmas always want to brag about their kids, grandkids, etc? Well, these little books were created for just that! They are small photo books that are being gifted as brag books...plus, they fit nicely in a purse so you can show off your loved ones anytime you want.
They are just over 3x5, are $35 each and hold 23 photos (if you aren't using both sides of the pages). You can put the photos inside with acid-free adhesives. If you are interested in some, message me!
And the stockings were hung by the chimney with care...
Confession: I'm not entirely sure why but stockings have always been my favorite Christmas tradition. I don't know if its because you have to get more creative with getting small gifts that fit in them or if it feels like a treasure hunt pulling small gifts from them, but I love them. I think they are really fun-both the giving and receiving of stockings. So, I enjoyed coming up with a unique, handmade stocking option. These are created from repurposed coffee bags and have little bells on top. I can even personalize them with hand-stitch names. For those of you interested in decorating either with mostly handmade or eco-friendly items, this stocking is both!
A couple months ago, I received an email from a previous customer who had seen this custom marriage book. The customer was about to celebrate his first wedding anniversary and wanted to get a custom-made book as a surprise for his wife. His plan was to copy their vows into the front pages and then write notes, thoughts, and such to each other as they choose. The cover itself was inspired by their wedding and symbols that are meaningful to them. Their wedding colors were black, red, and white. He asked that I include Beethoven's famous quote "Ever mine, ever thine, ever ours" on it. He also requested that the Irish Claddagh be used in some manner (he proposed with a Claddagh ring and has an Irish heritage). Below is the collaboration of his ideas and my translation. The leathers are in their wedding colors with the quote on the back, and the Claddagh is part of the closure. When I presented it to him, he was so excited with the outcome and sharing it with his wife.

You can purchase them here. If you would like a custom one or one in a larger size, please email me at reimaginedbyluna@gmail.com.
This is custom Marriage Book! The couple who ordered it from me used it to write their vows in and read from during the ceremony. They plan on writing letters to each other on their anniversary each year; hence, the August 16th on the front. It also has a tree, the moon phase from their wedding day, their favorite constellations (with the big dipper on the front), and a stone closure from the place where they hiked on their first date. The collaboration and intention that put it together was as beautiful as the finished product!
