New work just dropped off at @mulberryandlimeofficial! They have handbound journals, refillable sketchbooks and notebooks, and leather bags. Also, they are a perfect place for home decor or a special, unique gift for anyone.

A big thank you to everyone who came out last Saturday for the @kyguild Fall Art Market! The day was very full with steady people, music, and so many good conversations. While I wish we could have also had Sunday, I was glad to not have to be out in those high winds. I’m grateful to be a part of the @kyguild and to continue to build on the legacy that came before us. Thank you to everyone who made the fall market happen, especially Benjamin Maddox, Pamela Cveticanin, board members, volunteers and our generous sponsors, including @kentuckyartisancenter, @kyartscouncil, @ky.tahc, @bereakytourism, Jade Enterprises, @communitytrustbank, and @cumberlandvalleynationalbank. I’m looking forward to some future projects that we have underway so be sure to follow the @kyguild for updates.

Join us this weekend in Berea, KY for the esteemed @kyguild Fall Art Market! I’ve had the opportunity to help behind the scenes with this one both as a board member and on the Fall Fair committee. I can say with confidence that this will be a solid show that is well-worth attending. We have about 70 artists that will be set-up behind the @kentuckyartisancenter. There will be parking attendants on-hand to direct you as well as additional parking in the Seabury Center where you can be shuttled to the Artisan Center easily. There will be live music, food trucks, children’s activities and more. We are looking forward to everyone joining us and are excited to be collaborating with the Artisan Center once again. Oh wow, @stjamescourtartshow!! I’m still reeling from the weekend and all the good that took place. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by!! You are the reason I am able to keep coming back. I appreciate all the support and so many long standing connections. To Drew and all of 4th St. association- a big thank you for making this huge show so manageable and making all of us part of the family. Your hard work makes this a beautiful, well-attended event. It’s officially fall! And with that comes oh-so-many fall art shows! Which ones are your favorite?? This dusky blue leather bag is filled to the brim and modeled by the lovely @audrydealmcever. Little known fact is that this size was first custom-made for her and enough people began requesting it that I decided to make it part of my line. With all the projects I’m currently juggling in the studio, I’m happy to add a new tool, The Maker, to the mix. This knife was hand forged and created by Kevin Parido of @shepherdsforge. He shares that “Making is sacred work— and this knife was designed with the maker in mind: the leatherworker, woodworker, potter, crafter, and every artist in between. It was inspired by the Japanese kiridashi, a traditional woodworker’s knife.” I have definitely appreciated using it. The handle makes it easy to maneuver and control and the blade is sharp and precise. I use it along with other cutting tools on my self-healing cutting mat.
