Here is the newest community journal/sketchbook at Coffee Times Coffee House! You can find it on one of the tables. Feel free to share your thoughts, a favorite quote, or create some sketches. It's 8.5 x 11 with 450 recycled pages and was created from a coffee bag from Coffee Times. Please enjoy when stopping by for a cup of java!
Refillable Coffee Bag Books are now an option! This new design has similar features as the original coffee bag books: repurposed burlap coffee bags, hand-crafted wooden buttons, and handbound recycled, brown paper. However, when you fill this one up, you can purchase another handbound journal to refill it with from me. The cover and initial refill are $48. Each additional refill is $25. They will be premiering this weekend at the Lakeshore Arts Festival in Evanston, IL (just north of Chicago). In the meantime, if you would like one, just let me know!
Eli Scarr filmed and edited this video. He created it for consideration at the downtown Lexington Pavillion screening by the Lexington Film League on April 22, Earth Day. Scarr has other community-themed videos on his youtube channel: cineaste16. His youtube video Clean Acres Farm was produced for Alltech's online film festival last year.
Coffee Bag Books are now available in hardback. They are still light weight and a great size to carry around. Each is unique and has a fabulous, handmade button out of wood on it. Buy them here.
